  • Bike Trails

    Huron Lakeshore path, follows US-23 along the lakeshore from Alabaster Road, south of Tawas, over 10 miles through Tawas and East Tawas leading all the way to the Lighthouse!

  • Charity Island

    Take a 5 1/2 hour cruise to the 1857 Island Lighthouse!

  • Movie Theater

    6:30-7pm nightly, doors open at 5:45pm. Go down to the East Tawas movie theater to enjoy a old fashioned style movie and popcorn! Adults and children 12+ $5. Children 11 and under $4. Plays 2 currently released movies at a time.

    River Road in Oscoda has many different boat launch spots, great for taking a kayaking or canoeing trip, such as Foote Pond Overlook, or Whirlpool. They have great hiking spots, such as Iargo Springs. The Old Orchard camp ground. The River queen is an old paddle boat which has live events throughout the summer.
